Bio
Southall is the Deputy Chief Medical Examiner in the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. She has been working at the OCME for more than 20 years. She is a forensic pathologist with specialty in custody deaths. Dr. Southall has trained many forensic fellows, pathology residents, and pathology assistants. She is also an adjunct professor at University of Baltimore. She has authored and co-authored many peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. She serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Forensic Science and Medicine and she is the Associate Editor of "Forensic Medicine -an English textbook for medical students, law students and forensic experts."
