Bio
Eric Belt is a senior instructional designer and earned his doctorate in educational technology from Boise State University. His research interests are in communication, community, and connectedness in online and blended learning environments. Specifically, he is interested in the teacher-student relation in these environments. He holds a master�s degree in distance education and e-learning (MDE) from University of Maryland University College and a BS in business administration from Towson University. Before joining UMB, he was the director of learning technology at the College of Southern Maryland and, before that, the assistant director of e-learning at Howard Community College.
