Join us in shaping the future of EDI leadership.

The diversity career path features our MS in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leadership—the inaugural program of its kind in Maryland. Tailored to cater to professionals in healthcare, science, social work, law, community engagement, education, and public safety, our curriculum is designed to provide comprehensive training for DEI practitioners in various fields.
Our diversity programs provide a comprehensive approach to DEI leadership. Designed to meet the demands of the profession amidst heightened need and scrutiny, the tailored curricula empowers future leaders to drive meaningful change in the field while advancing their professional expertise.
Diversity and Intercultural Leadership program instruction occurs online, with a primary focus on asynchronous learning. While asynchronous activities will concentrate on lectures, readings, discussions, and critical reflection, etc., they are several synchronous activities of real-time discussions, small group work, and role-playing exercises. Master's students will participate in mock facilitation, like the one-credit Intercultural Impact Institute which takes place over two consecutive days during the spring semester.
I have incorporated many of the tools and resources from the Intercultural Leadership program into my clinical practice and in my quest to help build a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment for my colleagues, students, trainees, patients, and their families. By continuing my education, I hope to expand my knowledge base and to develop more programming that extends beyond our department and into the medical center as a whole."
