AVAM's Flicks on the Hill
The American Visionary Art Museum (AVAM) hosts FREE outdoor movies every Thursday at 9:00 P.M. throughout the summer at the Hughes Family Outdoor Theater. Bring a picnic blanket and set up on Federal Hill to watch the flick of the week in the amphitheater outside the museum. AVAM also offers free admission from 5 - 9 p.m. on movie nights, so go early to see the exhibits! Check out their website for more information

Sandy Point State Park
Looking for some fun in the sun? Spend a day on the bay at the Sandy Point State Park, located on the Northwestern shore of the Chesapeake, and it is within an easy day-trip driving distance from downtown Baltimore. Scenic swimming beaches, picnic areas, hiking trails, and fishing spots are among some of the many activities this state park has to offer. Admission is only $5 for Maryland residents and $7 for non-residents per person on weekends.
Inner Harbor Kayaking Tours
Explore the Inner Harbor by kayaking with the Healthy Harbor Initiative and Baltimore City Recreation and Parks! Two and a half-hour guided tours are offered every Sunday from now through the month of October, starting at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tickets are $20 for Baltimore City residents and $30 for non-city residents, and include a kayak and paddle.
