Volunteering Untapped March Event at The Loading Dock
Volunteering Untapped (VU) is a program that volunteers with a different nonprofit organizations in Baltimore on the second Saturday of every month. It was created to give young professionals the opportunity for rewarding experiences that will help forge a passion for future volunteering. This organization strives to "untap" resources and opportunities in Baltimore for individual talents that seem to be underutilized. Their mission is to create new opportunities and relationships, through giving back, with the hope of inspiring change in the communities of Baltimore.
On March 14th, they will be partnering with The Loading Dock which is a Non-profit Building Materials Reuse Center. As it implies, their mission is to increase the supply and use of affordable building materials for housing and community improvement by redirecting landfill bound, reusable materials into productive use.
