Grid Pitch 2020
Grid Pitch is a showcase that allows for students to pitch their innovative business ideas to a panel of experts and investors in the entrepreneurial community. Accepted participants will receive coaching and mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs and business experts.
We have eight participating teams this year, which represents a diverse range of ideas and disciplines. The teams include students from the Graduate School, School of Medicine, School of Social Work, School of Nursing and the Law School.
Grid Pitch is not a competition, so every participating team will be awarded grant funding to continue to develop their project, thanks to generous support from UM Ventures. Venture tier participants will be awarded $1,500 to continue to develop their project and Vision tier participants will be awarded $750 to continue to develop their project.
We'd like to thank the mentors for helping to guide and support the students and their innovative ideas.
