Introduction

Graduate-degree candidates must enroll continually unless on an approved leave of absence and make reasonable progress toward their degree as defined by the Graduate School and their programs. The Office of Records and Registration and the Graduate School provide information on the registration and scheduling process, including procedures and dates at the appropriate times during the year.

Program faculty coordinate academic advising. Students are encouraged to seek the advice and counsel of graduate advisers and program directors in planning their curriculum. In addition, the Graduate School provides graduate assistants with a manual on policies and guidelines. Other policies related to student enrollment activities are in the university's Student Answer Book.
