| The Counseling Center provides professional counseling services and medication evaluation and management for all students. Students visit the center for help with various problems, large and small, including stress, relationship problems, anxiety, depression, sleep problems, loss of a loved one, eating disorders, disruptive changes in school or home life, and drugs and alcohol.
All Counseling Center services are confidential; the center will not release information to anyone on or off campus without the student’s written permission. There is no out-of-pocket expense to use Counseling Center; the cost of services is included in tuition and student health fees. The Counseling Center is not a training site; students are always seen by professional social workers, psychiatrists, or a substance abuse specialist. Students are seen by appointment, and class schedules can be accommodated in scheduling appointments.nfidential.
